Dyno Tuning


We now offer in-house tuning for all Hindle Exhaust customers. Have your bike professionally tuned by our Dynojet factory trained technician, Scott Cartier. Scott brings a huge amount of experience and knowledge to the table. Here's just a little bit about Scott:

  • Fully licensed motorcycle mechanic since 2000.
  • Factory trained at Dynojet headquarters in Nevada, USA.
  • Woolich and FTecy trained for ECU Flashing
  • Has worked on all types of motorcycles, but specializes in building and tuning high performance sport bikes.
  • Has worked with factory Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK) race teams.
  • Has built and tuned bikes for top Pro riders such as: Ben Young, Alex Welsh, Andrew Nelson and more.
  • Designer, tuner and technician with Hindle Exhaust Systems since 2011.

Our factory Dyno uses the most advanced technology and software package available from DynoJet, using Winpep8 to develop the best fuel map for your motorcycle. Each Power Commander tuning session with Scott will be $275 CAD + HST*. For an additional cost, you can have us professionally install your Hindle Exhaust system purchase before tuning.

For ECU Flashing, a full ECU flash is done specific to your year/make/model to unlock the most potential in your bike. Each ECU Flashing is $350 CAD + HST**. We do recommend a full ECU Tune on our dyno, which will tune the new flashed ECU on your specific machine. The ECU Tuning is an additional $350 CAD + HST.

Now, the biggest question – should I tune my bike with a Power Commander or should I flash my ECU? Here is some important information to help you choose whether between a Power Commander or ECU Flashing:

Power Commander

  • Only tune the fuel/air ratio (unless it’s a twin and you can tune the ignition)
  • Can go back to stock settings with unplugging/removing
  • PC6 can only tune part of the map, if it has an o2 sensor stock
  • Limited amount of Power Commander V in stock (previous generation, less restricted)
  • Power Commander 6 in stock
Flash/ECU Flash
  • It allows access to everything and many settings. You can tune fuel, tune ignition, tune restrictions, adjust throttle, take off restrictions, etc.
