Ripple Rock Racers new RRR/Hindle Stainless Steel Exhaust System for the 1986-88 Honda VFR750 was developed over 18 months. We went through several designs and much testing to arrive at the current system created expressly for the 180 degree firing order of the RC24. As pictured on the photos there are both high mount and low mount systems. The low mount is a street/track system and retains the rear passenger peg. The high mount is a racing application where the rear passenger footpeg and its mounting struts are cut off the frame. The tuning of the systems is the same, full race spec 4-2-1 all stainless steel designed to produce maximum horsepower and torque. The system is all spring mounted slip together as in all the best race systems for easy installation and removal. The systems are complete with muffler and intake spigots so nothing else is needed, it’s plug and play. Our super thin wall stainless steel construction is strong, extremely durable, rust free and super light. The complete system with muffler weighs only 12 lbs. The 1986-88 Honda VFR750 system offers complete access to oil filter and oil drain. These are no compromise systems that deliver the best performance, looks and sound whether for race or street use. The bottom fairings for the VFR fit properly and there is no interference with the exhaust system. These exhausts come as full systems with a choice of 14”, 16”or 18” Round Canister Stainless Steel Mufflers at no extra charge. Optional cost extras are high mount bracket ($50) and different material for the muffler shell. I can supply the round muffler pictured in Stainless Steel with Ceramic Coat Black (extra $60), in Carbon Fiber ($75 extra) or Titanium ($50 extra). The length of the muffler does not affect the cost. Same price whatever length. The system can be completely ceramic black coating for an extra $300. The mufflers are a straight through baffle design and breathe really well at high rpm where the sound is stirring! For quieter use select the 18” muffler. The round canister mufflers are designed to work with our headers and provide a deep rich sound. Complete System with Stainless Steel Muffler is $1000 CDN. Center stand must be removed but the frame lugs can stay in place.
