As pictured on the photos there are both race bracket mount and standard mount systems. These are pics of the pre-production units so they are tack welded and headers linked which won’t be there in the beautiful, brushed production items!! The standard mount is a street/track system and retains the rear passenger peg. The Race Bracket mount is a racing application where the rear passenger foot peg and its mounting struts are removed and replaced with our race mount bracket. The tuning of the system is full race spec 4-2-1 all stainless steel designed to produce maximum horsepower and torque. The system is all spring mounted slip together as in all the best race systems for easy installation and removal. Our super thin wall stainless steel construction is strong, extremely durable, rust free and super light. The complete system with muffler weighs only 10lbs. The 1986-94 Yamaha FZR400R system offers complete access to oil filter and oil drain. These are no compromise systems that deliver the best performance, looks and sound whether for race or street use. These exhausts are available as full systems with a choice of 14”, 16” or 18” Round Super Sport Stainless Steel Mufflers at no extra charge. Optional cost extras are high mount bracket ($50) and different material for the muffler shell. We can supply the round muffler pictured in Stainless Steel with Cerakote Coat Black (extra $60), in Carbon Fiber ($50 extra) or Titanium ($25 extra). The length of the muffler does not affect the cost. Same price whatever length. The system can be completely Cerakote Black Coating for an extra $300. The mufflers are a 2 inch straight through baffle design and breathe well at high rpm where the sound is stirring! For quieter use select the 18” muffler or choose the STEALTH ( -2dB) packing for any length. The round canister style Super Sport Mufflers are designed to work with our headers and provide a deep rich sound. Complete System with Stainless Steel Muffler is $799.90 CDN.
